Advertising Measurement (Meta Pixel)
Some event organizers on Frisson use Meta Pixel, a tool provided by Meta Platforms, Inc., to measure the performance of their advertising on Facebook and Instagram. Meta Pixel is loaded only on the pages of those organizers' events and on their organizer profile page, and only if you accept advertising cookies in our cookie banner. It is not loaded elsewhere on the website, and if you decline or do not make a choice it is not loaded at all and nothing is sent to Meta.
When it is loaded, Meta sets the cookies _fbp and _fbcin your browser, and we send Meta the following about your activity on that organizer's pages: the pages you view, the event you looked at, checkout steps you start, and completed purchases or registrations, including the ticket type, quantity, amount and currency. This information is received by Meta and made available to that organizer in their Meta advertising account, where it may be used for measurement, ad optimization and building advertising audiences. We do not send your name, email address or card details to Meta through the pixel.
You can withdraw your consent at any time from "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page: Meta Pixel then stops sending information, and its cookies are removed from your browser. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings or use a content blocker, and you can limit Meta's use of this data through your Facebook and Instagram ad settings. Meta's handling of this data is governed by Meta's own privacy policy.
